Privacy Policy

You give us when you use the Service:

• Move details: origin, destination, move date, home size, special items.
• Contact details: name, email, phone, postal code.
• Account info: password (hashed), profile preferences.
• Messages you send to Milo (our AI assistant) or to a mover.
• Reviews, ratings, and photos you publish.

We collect automatically:

• Device, browser, language, and approximate location (from IP or, with permission, the browser geolocation API).
• Pages viewed, searches run, and clicks (for analytics and to improve matching).
• Cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, preferences, and analytics.

• Find and rank movers near you and generate AI-powered recommendations.
• Share your move request with matched movers so they can respond with quotes.
• Run the assistant Milo and improve its answers.
• Operate accounts, dashboards, billing, and customer support.
• Detect fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
• Send transactional emails and, if you opt in, marketing updates.

When you request a quote we share the move details and contact info you provided with the matched mover(s) so they can contact you. Those companies are independent and handle your information under their own privacy policies. We don't sell your personal information.

We also use trusted service providers (hosting, analytics, email delivery, AI providers, payment processing) under contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only for the services we engage them for.

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure how the Service is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but some parts of the Service may stop working.

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements. Move-request data is typically retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Subject to applicable law, you may:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
• Withdraw consent or opt out of marketing emails at any time.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to choose a strong password and keep it private.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your information may be stored or processed in Canada and in other countries where our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
